Some Airlines and the
Defense Forces offer some traineeships for pilots, but many pilots do
their own private pilot training through an Aero Club.
Once you have a Commercial Pilots License and have accumulated
enough flying hours, you can apply to an airline for a job. Talk to
a locally-based flying school or ring the Civil Aviation Safety Authority
(CASA).
You could also go into one of the trades at a major Airline, gain experience
there and then look to cross over to pilot training.
Wages
Your pay rate will be dependent upon the enterprise activity of your
potential employer and you will need to discuss wage rates with them.
