Do you love working with computers and electronics? Do you want to be the one who looks after all the “black boxes” on an aircraft?

The instrumentation of a plane provides the vital information on speed, altitude and direction that the aircrew rely on when flying. Working on the test bench in the workshop, you will use all your electronic, electrical and electro mechanical skills to maintain and repair the avionics components to the highest standard.

You will repair and test all the computer controls, the autopilot, the display information, the timing circuits, emergency lights and galley equipment.

You will have great attention to detail, as this is a very responsible job. You’ll want to make sure that your repairs and tests can be absolutely relied on when the aircraft is back up thousands of metres in the air.
