As a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you are the only one who can certify that an aircraft is airworthy. You'd need to be a self-reliant high achiever who can apply your high degree of technical knowledge to manage your team of mechanics and engineers.

You could be overseeing a big overhaul on an aircraft in the hangar or you may be under high pressure "on the line" at the terminal checking an aircraft that needs to be back in the air in thirty minutes.
