A Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is the only one in the engineering team who can certify that an aircraft is airworthy.

You will need a high degree of mechanical knowledge to head a team of maintenance engineers. You’ll need to be a self-reliant high achiever.

You may be working in Heavy Maintenance in the hangar on an aircraft that’s out of action for six weeks or you may be “on the line” at the terminal with only thirty minutes to check an aircraft and release it for its next flight out.
