Aircraft are highly complex machines, capable of transporting people over thousands of miles and they need a sound and reliable structure to hold them together.

The structure of aircraft is the framework and covering of their fuselage, wings, flight controls and any other metal and non-metal aircraft components. The aviation industry works to very high standards and tolerances.

You will make repairs and rectify structural problems to approved repair schemes.

You might climb inside fuel tanks, repair wing rib defects or check engine pylons for wear and tear.
