If you have become highly competent in your technical area and would like the satisfaction of passing that knowledge on to students, then this could be a job for you.

As a technical instructor, you need to be mature and very oriented towards people. You will be a good teacher who is patient with students and able to motivate and inspire them. Your work will range from “hands on” instruction with the students in the workshop to clearly explaining high-level concepts.

This job will also be a good career progression for someone who starts out as a Mechanic or Maintenance Engineer
